"Tamara was an excellent agent. She handles all of the details and is put at ease. She was also able to negotiate a substantial discount on the purchase price. She was even able to sell our current residence was a clean offer at the asking price."

"For the over 20 years that we have known Tamara, she has been the same person: street smart, trustworthy, ethical, practical, dependable, client-focused, gets the job done on time and on budget. For the past five years, we have been based in Asia and Tamara has managed all our real estate requirements in Marin."

"We could not have closed on our house without Tamara's knowledge and expertise. We went through 2 short sales over a course of 1.5 years. She knows Marin very well and was very informative about the houses we looked at; the areas; school districts; etc. We were so impressed by her and would highly recommend her services."

We knew immediately that we were in good hands to guide us through the search & purchase of our 1st home. Tamara is professional, experienced, and extremely responsive. She built a solid relationship and stuck with us no matter what I threw at her and she remained patient. I am truly grateful to have Tamara as our trusted agent."

"I don't believe there is anyone better at negotiating the deal than Tamara. She is kind and low-key and makes the process less stressful and, anxiety-inducing. For anyone focused on a good value Tamara is for you since she scrutinizes a house in a million different ways to be sure the house is well-built and free of defects that others may overlook in favor of more superficial elements. Anyone would be lucky to have Tamara sell their property or negotiate the deal when buying a house."

We really like her style. Her greatest gift is figuring out what the buyer wants. She is incredibly patient and helpful for those of us who are trying to figure out what we want. She seems to truly enjoy what she does, matching the right people with the right house. With Tamara, it's easy to forget that she's actually at work because she's so comfortable to be with and congenial."

We never felt pressured by Tamara, she wanted us to find the perfect home that met our needs and was within our budget. Tamara is an incredible real estate agent and a wonderful person. She is immensely knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and professional. Buying and selling a home can be an emotional and stressful time in one's life. Tamara held our hand through the process and we were very impressed with her calm and collected nature. She is a pleasure to work with. We could not give her a higher recommendation."

We were undecided as to whether to stay in San Francisco despite the difficult market or to move to Marin, and Tamara was very patient with us and extremely knowledgeable about both markets. She was always patient and available and cared that we found the right house to meet our needs. Her great knowledge of construction and legal requirements was a tremendous asset in addition to her expertise in both markets, and she was always honest about properties that she did not think would be good choices rather than just pushing us to buy something. We would definitely recommend Tamara to anyone in San Francisco or Marin, and would absolutely work with her again in the future."

"I used be in real estate for over 14 years and have worked with many agents. Tamara Goldman is by far one of the best real estate agents in the area. She is not only very knowledgeable about property value but also about the physical condition of the property as she has past experience building and remodeling homes. The biggest reason I would recommend Tamara is for her level of ethics. She is not just interested in "closing the deal" but puts more priority on making sure her clients are happy and that they are buying the right property at a good deal. I recommend Tamara to all my friends and family looking to buy a home in Marin or Bay Area. She just helped my sister purchase her dream home."

"Tamara is an extraordinary agent and a wonderful person! I was selling my parents' home, the home I had grown up in, and it was very stressful for a variety of reasons. Tamara was extremely professional, patient, kind, thoughtful, and considerate of all family issues involved. She dealt gracefully and respectfully with everyone even when not everyone did the same with her. She was incredibly prepared with information, ideas, timetables, etc. She was very knowledgeable and gave excellent advice but was open to input and requests from us as well. Her guidance was invaluable and we ended up selling the house faster and for more money than we expected. She is a person of the highest integrity and a top-notch agent. I cannot recommend her highly enough."

She helped us buy and sell our home in Mill Valley during the craziest time, and then turned right around and helped us get our dream home in San Rafael. She is the perfect combination of everything you could hope for in an agent: respectful, resourceful, intelligent, great at negotiating, knows the area like the back of her hand and has an incredible mind for detail. On top of it, she's a warm and wonderful person. She really does want to match you with the right home and enjoys that process. At first, we felt very lucky and fortunate we got her as a house agent, but even more so on another level as we realized what a genuine individual she is. What else can I say? Thank you, Tamara...we will always want you to be our house agent."

She has an intimate knowledge of the most current market trends, who to call for any kind of inspection (we used general home inspection, roof, pool) and each person we used was respected by the other agents with reasonable prices. She was always available by phone or e-mail for our multitude of questions and concerns. And perhaps, most importantly, she is a skilled negotiator. She knows what items should be negotiated and for how much. For one purchase, we bought at the peak of the market and bid against multiple other offers all of which were over the asking price. She not only got us the home but then was able to negotiate the price down during escrow to a price that was ultimately lower than most of the other bids. We recommend her to all of our friends and those that use her, who are always impressed with her professionalism and how easy it is to work with her."

"Tamara is professional, honest, extremely knowledgeable, and enjoyable to work with. She took the time and energy to get to know us. By doing so, she was able to guide us, not only towards the homes that were right for us but also through the process of buying a home by understanding what was important to us. In the past we had worked with other agents who didn’t understand what we wanted or didn’t really care – it felt like they just wanted to make the sale and check us off a list. Our experience with Tamara was refreshing and ensured - we completely trust her. The process of buying a home can be daunting. One of the things that I truly valued, is her ability to have very honest and sometimes difficult conversations. Tamara made the difference for us, she also made the experience fun and expertly guided us from start to finish. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home in Marin or SF."
